How to get here
By bus
Piastowska is the nearest stop. There is one on each side of the street, so it works whichever direction you come from. Lines 5, 9, 13, 15, 25 and 30.
On foot
650 m from the market square, about eight minutes. From the main train station it is 1 km, roughly thirteen minutes across the river.

Dress warm
It is an ice rink. The stands stay cold in every season, so a hat and proper shoes are not overkill.

Two hours
Three periods of twenty minutes, with two intermissions while the ice is resurfaced.

Come early
Fifteen minutes buys you a good seat and the warm-up, which is worth seeing on its own.

Follow the puck. Everything else falls into place before the second period.
